What is an HD Metal Print?

Unlike traditional prints, HD Metal Prints use a dye-sublimation process where your image is infused directly into a specially coated sheet of aluminum. The result is a vibrant, luminous artwork where colors seem to glow from within the metal surface. The aluminum substrate creates a unique depth and dimensionality that paper and canvas simply cannot achieve. These prints are waterproof and guaranteed to last for years without fading.

Wall Mount Options

Multiple mounting solutions to suit your space.

Black Aluminum Mount

We use a black aluminum mount that contrasts nicely with the natural aluminum back. The frame is 3/4" deep which makes your image appear to be floating off the wall. Our wall mounts come with a cleat hanger by default, with an option to replace with a wire hanger when placing an order. Some sizes may come with just a screw for hanging if the wall mount is too small to fit a cleat hanger.

Float Mount

Our Float Mount Hangers are high quality and very durable. It's the perfect mount for quality prints on a budget. They attached to the back of the print, and float the print 1/2-inch off the wall when hung. Styles and selection vary based on the size of the print ordered. Float Mounts are not available for sizes above 24x36.

Flush Black Mount

Flush Mount is the most substantial wall presentation available for HD Metal Prints, it is a sleek aluminum frame that sits tight against the wall, giving your print a bold, built-in look with a noticeably thicker side profile than the standard float mount.

Flush Silver Mount

Flush Mount is the most substantial wall presentation available for HD Metal Prints, it is a sleek aluminum frame that sits tight against the wall, giving your print a bold, built-in look with a noticeably thicker side profile than the standard float mount.

Aluminum Easel

This is a great way to display your smaller prints on your desk or other table surfaces.

2.5" Acrylic Stand

A simple way to display your photos on a flat surface. Your Metal Print rests in the groove of the Acrylic Stand.

Are all Metal Prints alike, and why do you call yours HD Metal Prints?

All metal prints are definitely NOT alike. Firstly, there are a couple of ways to make metal prints. Either an inferior quality "direct print" onto an aluminum sheet, or a much higher quality "dye sublimation" process. We use the dye-sublimation process. Secondly, the brand of aluminum is VERY important. We use the original and the best aluminum coated sheets by Chromaluxe™ This is the key to us providing the highest quality metal prints. Others we tested did not have the HD clarity of Chromaluxe metal prints. Chromaluxe metal prints have been shown to resist fading for 65+ years, for Wilhelm Imaging Test Results. The other brands made in China will fade after a couple of years and they don't have the durability of Chromaluxe Metal Prints.

Do you offer custom size Metal Prints?

Yes, since we cut our HD Metal in-house at the time of the order we can cut any size you would like starting at 4x6". If you are looking for Custom Metal Prints you're at the right place!

How long will it take for my HD Metal Print to arrive?

Please reference our Production Times page.

What is the difference between Glossy and Matte and which should I choose?

Glossy is the most popular because the shiny surface enhances the image making it look more sharp and vivid, but if you will be displaying your image in direct light where the glare of the gloss is not preferred then we recommend you go with a matte finish.

Will my HD Metal Print fade in the light?

Because the image is heat infused into the aluminum metal the inks are bonded with the metal creating a very long lasting print. Xenon Light Stability Testing has shown that HD Metal Prints last 2-4 times longer than traditional photo based silver papers.

Does your company offer drop shipping?

Drop shipping is available on all orders. We can ship your product to your customer with no invoice or with custom invoicing upon request.

How do I clean my HD Metal Print?

We recommend using a clean lint free cloth to wipe off your print. You can use water or non-ammonia glass cleaner. Do NOT use rubbing alcohol to clean your print.
